I AM SO GREATFUL!

I never thought I would get my Garden Blog started but someones push, just opened the garden gates!!!!! I am so grateful for this day, to be able to express myself in a forum that, like water to a fish, is the art form of writing....watch out world!

THIRTY POUNDS of TOMATOES A WEEK!

In 2009 I had 1/3 acre in O.C. CA. I love love love to garden so I planted...some herbs, some tomatoes, some lavender expecting not to much success! 30 lbs of tomatoes a week later I was in big trouble and alas the Urban Farm started. I forgot to mention the hens...2 dozen eggs a day!!!! So I started canning and cooking and making breads and jellies but now all these hours, money and time later I have no idea which things I should grow and cook (I cook everything lovingly!!) and which to save time and just buy???? So I am thrilled that Jennifer Reese just wrote THE TIPSY BAKER. This book is now out!   I've moved back to the city one hen in toe, but looking to buy larger acreage out of state next year!!! xxoo L-
